Community
Binsky Home has been supporting the communities where our employees live, work and play since our humble beginnings in the 1930’s. The traditional values established in our family-owned business remind us that our history of success comes with a responsibility of community involvement. Every year Binsky Home provides corporate donations to a number of organizations through charitable contributions, volunteer projects, internships and fundraisers.
Corporate Donations
Following the Hurricane Katrina disaster, a company-wide decision was made to cancel plans for the company Christmas Party and donate the would-be expenses to New Orleans survivors and their rebuilding process. More recently, we collected goods and materials for Haiti earthquake victims and Binsky made a donation on behalf of our employees.
Closer to home, Binsky Home is always sponsoring a local fundraiser or using the cafeteria to collect non-perishable items for the local food pantry. Many of these efforts are employee-driven, including our sponsorship of Embrace Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization helping children diagnosed with cancer.
